If an item is marked as "Disabled" in Heartland Retail, it will no longer show up in searches from the POS or the Inventory > Items page. It can, however, be applied to a transaction if it is scanned in with a barcode scanner.

If you need to change the status of an item marked as disabled back to active, you can do this by going to the "items" page
