With our Magento integration, you have the option to use Heartland Retail or any third party Magento order fulfillment service. When using an external fulfillment service, we will automatically sync a completed invoice into Heartland Retail for reporting purposes. This will allow you to accurately track your sales through Heartland Retail's powerful reporting features.

Use Heartland Retail for order fulfillment

From the Magento integration page, select the order fulfillment tab. By default we have it set to use Heartland Retail for order fulfillment. This means when an order is placed on Magento, it will sync over to Heartland Retail as an open sales order. From there you can invoice the sales order and we will sync the completed invoices up to Magento.

From this page you can set the Station that you would like to get credit for the sales. We recommend having a dedicated station specifically for Magento/Ecommerce to help segment your sales in reporting. If you are sharing a station with another locations sales, it will be very difficult to separate Magento sales from in store sales.

For the auto distribution setting, you have the ability to specify a single location to automatically distribute your sales orders to. This is helpful if you will be fulfilling all orders from a central location. If you would like to manually distribute your orders so you can choose which store sends out which item, you can leave that dropdown blank.

Use another service for order fulfillment

From the Magento integration page, select the order fulfillment tab you see the option to use another service for order fulfillment. When this is selected, we create an unfulfillable order in Heartland Retail when an order comes in on Magento. Then once the order has been fulfilled using your third party fulfillment service on Magento, we automatically sync a completed invoice to Heartland Retail to allow you to report on the sale.
